The festive event will take place at Jane Robison's Casa Colonial on Friday, July 4, from 2 until 4 pm. The Casa is located at Miguel Negrete 105, just a few walkable blocks from el centro, so there will be no need for a shuttle service.

The staff at the Casa will handle all the arrangements, so there will be no need for people to bring potluck dishes this year. The menu will feature hamburgers and hot dogs, as usual, with potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans and dessert. Agua fresca and iced tea will be provided, and there will be a cash bar. The cost of admission will be 380 pesos per person. Reservations are required and can be made at www.OaxLibrary.org beginning on June 4.  Please mark your calendars and plan to attend.
