Acerca del evento
We head out to Matadamas (near Etla, about a 40 minute drive) to an open field where competitors and amateurs alike launch tissue paper lanterns into the evening sky. Have a taco, buy a little globo and if the wind is just right, watch it rise into the evening sky and sail away.
It´s the 14th year this fun festival takes place. The big ¨show¨ starts at 9 PM, so bring a sweater and practice your night photography, because there is something sweet and special about looking up into the evening sky awash with glowing promise.
