Acerca del evento
About the Hike: The Camino de Benito Juarez is a paved, mixed surface trail (sometimes steps, sometines packed dirt centre, sometimes paving bricks or river stone and cement) which was created to commemorate the walk Benito Juarez did as a young man from his home town in Guelatao to the city of Oaxaca, where his sister was working. Our walk today takes us on part of that trail, starting in the National Forest names after Oaxaca's beloved former president to the small roadside trading stop of El Punto. El Punto is famous for its preserved fruit and jams, available for purchase at the roadside stands in town.
