About the Hike:  It is a long (2.5 hour) drive to Llano de Las Flores, but a lovely one through the mountains which hikers consider time well spent to enjoy the terrific hike waiting there. The hike itself takes about four hours, including time for a sack lunch at a mirador overlooking surrounding hills and valleys. The two caves and waterfalls add a special touch to this outing. Participants are cautioned that there are some steep segments which require using a rope banister to get up the hill. This may be more challenging than some people are ready for.
