About the Hike:  As a public transportation edition hike, we will share the cost of a taxi or two to head out to the trail head, which is just beyond the Tule tree. The hike is a loop, uphill first and then across a ridgeline and then down and back to the start, where we then walk back to the road, have late breakfast/early lunch at a local eatery and if you have not already seen it, take in the Tule tree, the widest tree in the world.

Notes: The total walking distance is about 10 kilometers, and the retunr in by public transportation (bus). You should be mobile enough to get in and out of taxis and on and off buses.
