Trek 2.3 miles on an isolated but well-constructed farm access road that eventually leads to two overlooks affording a grand view of mountains and canyons. While the road is wide and has just moderate grades, there are sections covered with loose rock which demand careful footing. The trail runs downhill most of the way going in, meaning that the return is all uphill. The trailhead is 37.5 miles from Oaxaca city and requires a two hour drive on sinuous highway to reach.
