Synopsis:

Join Furry Tails of Oaxaca for an inspiring talk about what they and their partners are doing to reduce the population and suffering of cats and dogs in Oaxaca. What does it take to put on a sterilization campaign and what happens there? How do the cat colonies and street dogs get sterilized? Hear stories from volunteers and the people who benefit from our work. Learn how small acts of kindness create big change for the dogs, cats and humans of Oaxaca! Also participate in some interactive trivia complete with prizes.

- Deborah Miller: Deborah D Miller has a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology, is an EFT Expert & trainer, Life Transformed Coach, Natural Health Coach, author (EFT for Cancer, Emotional First Aid for Children & Dragon with Flames of Love) & animal lover volunteering with Furry Tails of Oaxaca and Huellas de Ayuda Oaxaca since May 3, 2023. - Summer Lewis: Summer Lewis has lived and worked in Oaxaca since 2013, bringing more than 15 years of experience with mission-driven rganizations including Coffee Kids, Rotary International, and the Institute for Economics & Peace. Drawing on her background in project management and community engagement, she became involved in local animal welfare after adopting an abandoned dog and cat during the pandemic
