What are the best medical options for foreign residents in Oaxaca? How does one navigate getting medical care?

The Oaxaca Lending Library is offering a conversation on some of those options, with presenters focusing both on the general panorama of health care and on specific aspects, such as IMSS, private  providers, and Medicare. 

The panel will include: A recent subscriber/user of IMSS services, another with broad experience of insurance for foreigners and a 3rd to provide more detailed information about the limitations of Medicare services while outside the U.S. and insights into possible expansion of Medicare services abroad. 

After these introductory presentations, we hope to engage the participants in sharing their insights and open discussion.
