Presenter: Chuck Barth and his wife, Ellen, purchased a casa in Oaxaca in 1997. In his workshop, he produces paintings and etchings based on Mexican culture including Lucha Libre. He is an artist who taught at Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for 30 years. Chuck has been attending Lucha Libre events in Mexico since 1980. He was very affected by the passion and emotion of the sport on the part of the luchadors and the audience. His art work reflects the heroic luchadors and the excitement of their fantastic world.
