Acerca del evento

Four days before the Noche de Rábanos, artisans, foresters and politicians gather for the radish harvest near the Tequio forest in Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán. Hundreds of thousands of visitors and residents crowd the Oaxaca de Juarez Zócalo every December 23- many waiting for hours to view the Night of the Radishes competition, which is one of the oldest traditions in Oaxaca. The documentary follows one of these "radish artisans", Oliver Mijangos Amador as he and his friends harvest, wash, carve and win the “Open Category” in the Night of the Radishes in 2023.
