This Out & About Tour will feature a visit to the Xaguixe glassworks in Etla, founded by Christian Thornton as an environmentally friendly place that offers professional training in glass blowing to locals. 

This will be followed by a visit to La Cuna de Quesillo, a home workshop in La Raya Etla where Sra. Patricia Narvaez Lopez will demonstrate how she makes the string cheese Oaxaca is famous for. 

Then we are off to the Centro de las Artes in San Agustin Etla to view the traveling exhibition showing of the paintings of Dexter Wood.

Additional Fees:  Xaguixe glassworks admission 50 peso. Lunch afterward will be at the Mia Arroz restaurant, which features a delicious selection of Thai and Asian-fusion dishes. The cost for lunch will be approximately 200 pesos per person. This cost is not included in the tour fee.

All tours depart on time from the nearest corner of Llano Park at 9 am. Unclaimed seats may be re-sold at boarding time.
