Tour Description: Huitzo is a community about a 1 hour drive from Oaxaca City, on the edge of the Etlas in the western valley. This year they are hosting a night lighting of the Cempasúchil fields. It's a family event, there will be a band, food stalls, a mezcal stall and then the lighting of the fields. It should be a fun, relaxed afternoon in the community, great for photography, and getting into the spirit of muertos.

Special considerations: Bring an extra layer for the evening, wear practical, closed toe shoes, and bring cash (small bills) for food and snacks.

This tour will depart on time from Calle Los Libres behind the Grand Fiesta Americana Hotel. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Unclaimed seats may be re-sold at boarding time.

If this tour is sold out, you can take a chance that seats may be available and come to the boarding spot 15 minutes before departure. These seats must be paid for in cash.
