Tour Description:

We have been invited to spend 2 days and 1 night on “The Farm”. Tierra del Sol is a haven for birds, animals, trees and plants. Started over 20 years ago by an airline pilot who saw the green spaces shrinking from his seat in the sky, he created a space dedicated to permaculture practice.

Our stay starts with a guided visit of the property, learning about the land, water, space and permaculture practices. After lunch (made with farm grown produce), we will have a workshop to explore permaculture practices.

Dinner will be enjoyed at 7:30PM, followed by star observation, or maybe an evening swim in the natural pool.

Our accommodations are built in the permaculture genre and are gorgeous! You have the option of three different styles (and price ranges) of

accommodation.

Tuesday is filled with yoga, hiking and workshop options, individually priced so you can customize your experience. You are of course also free to just

be at the farm. Breakfast and lunch are included.

At 4PM we will have a small closing exchange, to share our individual experiences of being in this incredible space.

NB: For shared accommodation, please book the two spaces under the same reservation if you have someone you would like to share with.

Shared accommodation in Yagul, Dainzu rooms: $4350 (2 available, 4 single beds in each, indoor bath

Shared accommodation in Mipla room: $4350 (1 available, 3 single beds in each, outdoor shower and bathroom.

Shared accommodation in Agave room: $7350 (1 available, 1 matrimonial bed, sleeps 2 as a couple, indoor bathroom.)

Shared Accommodation in Hotelito: $4800 (2 rooms, 1 with a matrimontial bed, 2 with single beds, private bathrooms.

Temescal (expression of interest)

We have the option to do a temezcal, the price is $6500 pesos and would be divided amongst participants, with a minimum of 10 participants.

Price will depend on participation. 10 participants: $650 pesos per person, decreasing to a minimum of $325 per person with 20 participants. Please check the box to indicate your interest.

This tour will depart on time  from Calle Los Libres behind the Grand Fiesta Americana Hotel. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Unclaimed seats may be re-sold at boarding time.

If this tour is sold out, you can take a chance that seats may be available and come to the boarding spot 15 minutes before departure. These seats must be paid for in cash.

No Refunds will be available. If you are not able to attend the event, you are welcome to sell your reservation to others. Please notify the library of change of name for reservation.
