About the Event:

The Buena Vista trail is a new addition to our hike venues in 2022-2023. The hike starts in the small village of San Antonio Buena Vista, located in the Teitipac region of the Tlacolula Valley, and proceeds from there up and through a saddle in the ridge of hills separating it from the Zimatlan Valley where San Bartolo Coyotepec (our destination) is located. The hike is rated moderate to difficult, because of the length and the trail goes over some rough stretches.Sack lunch required. Solid, comfortable shoes with a waffle tread are recommended.
