Terrace Talks

Previously Recorded Terrace Talks

As a part of our events schedule, the library offers a series of educational presentations on the Bertelli Terrace, mainly during the fall and winter months. These events are meant to educate audiences on a range of topics ranging from aspects of local Oaxacan history to niche interests presented by enthusiastic speakers. Tickets go on sale 30 days prior to an event.

Our terrace has a limited seating capacity for presentations and fills up fast so reserve tickets for any events as early as possible. Please only register for events that you plan to attend. You must check-in at the event at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the event. Unclaimed seats will be offered to those on the waiting list 5 minutes prior to the start time. Many of our presentation are now live streamed so you can also enjoy them from the comfort of your home. For presentations that are live streamed, you will see "Live Stream" as one of the ticketing options.

Guests are welcome to be added to the waiting list, in person at the door, 30 minutes before the event for sold out events. This first come, first served list will offer any unclaimed spots for the presentations.

Presentations take place on the 2nd floor terrace of the Library.

Seating in the 1st floor salon can be arranged for those unable to access the terrace. The presentation will be via video stream for those in the salon. The OLL must be notified a minimum 7 days in advance if you require 1st floor salon seating.

If you have further questions about our policies regarding events, you will presented an opportunity to review these policies before completing your purchase. For a full OLL policy listing visit our policies page.
