About the Hike: We've been able to add this hike into our roster this year thanks to our local guide, Anahi, in the charming village of El Carrizal. El Carrizal is nestled in a small valley between Llano Grande and San Miguel del Valle. Our hike will start in Llano Grande, and we'll walk through the forest on old logging roads to Lake La Neveria, where we'll enjoy our sack lunches and then walk to El Carrizal. This is a new hike and we have not yet mapped the GPD coordinates for it.

Notes: Hikers arriving from sea level should not underestimate the effects that altitude can have on hiking stamina and capacity. This is a point to point hike. Bring extra layers for the morning, it will be a cool start.
