This beautiful trail mostly follows a mountain stream and so runs mainly downhill and then along the river.  However, as it is deep in a valley it does not offer the kinds of panoramic vistas available on some other trails. Be sure to bring a sack lunch with you. As with all hikes in the Pueblos Mancumunados, there will be additional admission and/or guide fees, so do bring some extra cash. 

Time frame:  8:30 depart  / 4:00 pm return to Oaxaca.
