About the Hike:  Today’s outing is a trek through the rolling hill country of the Etla Valley northwest of Monte Alban. The point of this excursion is to get away from the hustle and bustle of the state capital and experience the serene beauty of the farmland that lies just beyond the reach of the city. The hike is on country roads and the uphill section may be a bit challenging for some. We will climb up and over a ridge of hills, then descend into San Felipe in the next valley to the south.
