About the Hike:  San Luis Beltran is nestled on the ridge of the flank of Cerro San Felipe, between San Felipe del Agua and Yatareni. Our hike today will start at the base of the old Libramiento Norte, the road originally planned to bypass Oaxaca. We hike uphill, pass the ridge and then down the other side.

Notes: Uphill at altitude should be considered if you have just arrived in Oaxaca.
