About the Hike:  A new addition to the roster, this area is so beautiful it's not to be missed. In the rolling hills behind the Etla valley, Suchilquiltongo has several reservoirs, and our van will stop at or as near to the reservoir as possible. You will then have three hours to enjoy this lovely landscape. Trail runners and hikers can head up along the road, which is mostly packed sandy dirt. The first 1.5 kilometers is in the full sun, and then the undulating road has mixed shade from oak forest.

Bird watchers can bird along the path on the water's edge or back along the road. Painters and sit at one of the small picnic areas that have tables and let inspiration flow.

Notes: You should be mobile enough to walk at least 1 kilometer in the event the van needs to stop before the reservoir due to river depth.
