About the Hike: This is a new overnight AND a new -ish hike location for the Hoofing it in Oaxaca program. Our first day will be our fan favorite Los Sabinos hike. After the hike, we will head up across the highway about 5 kilometers to San Sebastián de las Grutas, a lovely cave system with cabins nestled by the river, a great local guiding team, and several fun hikes. You can participate in a guided hike through the cave, with or without a 100 foot /30 metre descent via ropes and ladders to an underground river which you wade through and can do some bouldering to see the birthplace of the river in the cave. There is a small cenote to swim in, or just relax, bridwatch or read.

Additional Fees & Meals: The online booking fee covers driver, transportation, 2 chaperones, OLL fees, garafones of drinking water and morning coffee. An additional fees of $1400 pesos must be paid at least two days before your trip departure date. The additional fee covers 1 night shared accommodation (3 people per cabin), community access, guides for all hikes, 2 meals (1 dinner and 1 breakfast). You pay the additional fee in cash at the OLL circulation desk.
