Synopsis:

Learn about the situation in Oaxaca concerning migrants from Central and South America. The situation will be viewed via the perspective of a group dedicated to helping these people: The Centro de Apoyo para Migrantes Universales, A.C. (COLLIN, AC). This group of volunteers feeds and provides other services like clothing, toiletries, shoes, blankets, tents to migrants passing through Oaxaca. The organization is staffed by volunteers,

Bio:

Drew Johnson, is Co-Director of the newly founded non-profit., Centro de Apoyo para Migrantes Universales (COLLIN, A.C.). Drew has lived in Oaxaca for 3 years, devoting his time towards helping and supporting migrants passing through Oaxaca. Prior to Oaxaca Drew spent 22 years in Indonesia and Colombia involved in similar work.
