Oaxaca is one of the most biodiverse regions of Mexico, which is the fifth most biodiverse country in the world. This presentation focuses on the actual condition of species and ecosystems that are under threat of extinction in Oaxaca with a focus on those at the highest risk. It will also describe some of the efforts underway to protect them.
