“Turning the Political Tide: Mamdani’s NYC Campaign” will present the political, economic and cultural  context of the 2025 New York City Mayoral Campaign and the rise of Zohran Mamdani as a candidate and inspirational figure.  We will see how his authenticity, electoral strategy, and field operation met the hunger for a reboot of the city for young people, progressives, artists and marginalized groups. We will analyze how Mamdani's campaign and victory might rebound throughout the politics of the United States.

Even though the OLL will be closed for regular business, it will be open for this presentation.
