Tour Description:

Tanya is the excursions coordinator for the Oaxaca Lending Library tours and hikes, she is a immigrant to Oaxaca, now living here for over 11 years, and she LOVES Abastos market. Join her for her regular shopping trip to Abastos market on Tuesdays. You will at least shop for fruits and

vegetables and likely stop for either coconut water or an empanada de amarillo, or maybe the famous churro guy by the chicken section.

Notes: You should be able to walk 7 kilometers at a reasonable pace, get on and off public buses, carry your own groceries and not be obsessed with

having your phone in your hand at all times.

Additional Fees: Whatever purchases you make and $10 pesos for bus fare of $30 for shared taxi for the way home

This tour will depart on time  from Calle Los Libres behind the Grand Fiesta Americana Hotel. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Unclaimed seats may be re-sold at boarding time.

If this tour is sold out, you can take a chance that seats may be available and come to the boarding spot 15 minutes before departure. These seats must be paid for in cash.

No Refunds will be available. If you are not able to attend the event, you are welcome to sell your reservation to others. Please notify the library of change of name for reservation.
