Tour Description: The Wednesday market in Etla is a community mainstay, drawing in people from all the Etla’s to both sell and buy what they need for

the week, for a special party, for a wedding or baptism. The livestock market in Etla is along the highway and we’ll start our tour checking out the looks and price of sheep and goats, chickens and bulls.

Next we’ll head across the highway to the famous Castle of the Dwarfs, a love story of one man with a vision. We’ll enjoy a private tour of his “dream home”, after which we’ll head back to the van and down the road a little to the weekly market for lunch and some shopping, if you feel so inclined.

NOTE: Wear sneakers and comfortable clothes.

Lunch: At the market, semi-guided. Expect to spend about $120 pesos for lunch at the market

Additional costs: Entrance fee for the castle is $50 pesos.

This tour will depart on time  from Calle Los Libres behind the Grand Fiesta Americana Hotel. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Unclaimed seats may be re-sold at boarding time.
