Tour - Gracias a Dios Mezcal in Matatlán
Come out to Santiago de Matatlán with your chaperones David Brown and Carol Ringold to the palenque of fifth generation mezcaleros, the Hernández family. At Gracias a Dios, they make not only some of the finest mezcal in Oaxaca, but they also make agave GIN!!

About the event
The day starts with an hour’s drive to Matatlán, World Capital of Mezcal. We’ll then tour Gracias a Dios´ beautiful palenque, learning about the process of making mezcal, see the agave fields, starter crops and some very trendy adobe bricks made with leftover organic matter from the mezcal making process. You will then enjoy a tasting of the
Mezcals and Gins made here and have the opportunity to purchase products at palenque direct pricing.
Bring sun protection, a water bottle, cash for tacos (small bills appreciated) and your curiosity.
If you can't make it on this day, this tour will be repeated on February 23rd

Additional cost: 200 pesos for tour and tasting of 5 mezcals and 2 agave gins. Cash and credit cards accepted
