Tour Description: Most of us know the “typical” Atzompa pottery. Green glaze, both functional and decorative pieces. Large pots in wild gardens, or

the favorite hot chocolate pitcher on the stove.

Are you ready to see copper glazes? Little mermaids delicately made and towers together into a work of art fit for a presidential palace? Come and

get some Atzompa clay on your shoes, and let Linda Hannah, 30 year Oaxaca resident and friend of so many artists, lead you into workshops and

behind unassuming entrances into a world filled with beauty, inspiration and ceramics.

NOTE: Wear sneakers and comfortable clothes, and bring a shopping bag to carry precious purchases.

Lunch: At Come en el Pueblo

Additional costs: Pottery purchases and lunch ($150-$200), optional tip for the driver at the end of

the tour day.

This tour will depart on time  from Calle Los Libres behind the Grand Fiesta Americana Hotel. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Unclaimed seats may be re-sold at boarding time.

If this tour is sold out, you can take a chance that seats may be available and come to the boarding spot 15 minutes before departure. These seats must be paid for in cash.
