Tour Description:Our day starts at Dainzu, an archeological site in the eastern valley which shares it’s history with Monte Alban. From it’s prime location nestled into the hillside, imagine that at one time, this land was filled with water, trees, and small agricultural spaces. One of the most spectacular things about visiting Tierra del Sol is that even at the end of the dry season, everywhere you look it’s green. Walking from Dainzu to Tierra del Sol is walking in the footsteps that so many have walked for thousands of years.

Stepping into Tierra del Sol is an opportunity. Miguel and Alejandra teach us about agricultural practices that would provide sustainable food at a community level if adopted on a larger scale. Learn how things changed, the state of agriculture today and the opportunity we have as consumers and growers, no matter where we live.

Share brunch together and if the mood strikes you, enjoy a swim in the natural pond. Their shop will be open which sells seeds, kombucha, different

ferments, honey, tinctures, essential oils and more.

Additional Fees: $800 pesos for Tierra del Sol (guided tour and brunch), and $145 pesos at Dainzu (unless you are a permanent resident or

INAPAM card holder, in which case access is free).

This tour will depart on time  from Calle Los Libres behind the Grand Fiesta Americana Hotel. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Unclaimed seats may be re-sold at boarding time.

If this tour is sold out, you can take a chance that seats may be available and come to the boarding spot 15 minutes before departure. These seats must be paid for in cash.
